Before taking a look at the seal coat and Mill and inlay operations scheduled for this week, I wanted to take a minute to talk about the overpass construction on US 69 at FM 344 in Bullard. In Bullard, Construction crews have reduced US 69 to one lane in each direction around the FM 344 intersection so they can begin construction on temporary lanes for traffic during the construction of the overpass at that intersection. Construction of the temporary lanes will take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. We said last week that traffic from FM 344 will not be allowed to cross US 69, or turn left onto US 69 until the construction of the overpass is complete next summer, but our engineers have found a way to allow traffic to continue to fully use that intersection.
