TxDOT's Henderson Maintenance Section and the Tyler District's Special Jobs Crew perform mill-and-inlay operations on US 259 north of Henderson. The mill machine grinds up worn pavement and shoots it into dump trucks, while fresh hot mix is being laid down in its wake.

As I've said in recent episodes, when the weather warms up, so does our work schedule, and the one big project that's been on hold since last year is back under way this week. In Tyler, construction crews are scheduled to return this week to work on the intersection of SH 110 and SE Loop 323, also known as Troup and the Loop, to pick up where the project left off last fall. Also, work scheduled for SH 110 in Whitehouse, a look at this week's mill-and-inlay and seal coat schedules, and a look at two upcoming projects.
